Tanya Sitaram

Tanya Sitaram holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the Academy for Higher Arts and Cultural Education. She completed her Master's program in History at the Institute for Graduate Studies and Research. Her research topic is Hindustani Indentured Laborers, 1873-1921.She was the main narrator in the documentary "Tetary," about the uprising on the Zorg en Hoop plantation in 1884, produced by the OHM Foundation. She has also participated in various television productions, both nationally and internationally.She is the director of the Anton de Kom University Library.
