[:en]On November 19th, author Stephen Small presented his new book “20 Questions & Answers on Black Europe” at Hugo Olijfveld Huis in Amsterdam. In his presentation Small addressed the Black presence in Europe, how it is perceived and how it is experienced. Kwame Nimako (NiNsee), Mitchell Esajas (New Urban Collective) and Jennifer Tosch (Black Heritage Tours) offered their comments and reflections on the book. The launch concluded with a Q&A session that elaborated on how Black people can organize resources and support to battle racism and affirm their rights. The book launch was hosted in collaboration with NiNsee and New Urban Collective.

 

 [:nl]Op 19 november presenteerde auteur Stephen Small zijn nieuwe boek “20 Questions & Answers on Black Europe” in het Hugo Olijfveld Huis in Amsterdam. In zijn presentatie behandelde Small “Black presence” in Europa, hoe het wordt gepositioneerd en hoe het wordt ervaren. Kwame Nimako (NiNsee), Mitchell Esajas (New Urban Collective) en Jennifer Tosch (Black Heritage Tours) gaven hun commentaar en reflecties op het boek. De presentatie werd afgesloten met een vraag-en-antwoordsessie waarin werd besproken hoe zwarte mensen middelen en steun kunnen organiseren om racisme te bestrijden en hun rechten op te eisen. De boeklancering werd georganiseerd in samenwerking met NiNsee en New Urban Collective.[:]
